Union Strata SnowboardBindings (Model 321111-BLU) are a popular choice among snowboarders due to their durable construction, adjustable fit, and responsive performance. However, like any binding, they come with their own set of advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages:1. Adjustable Fit: The Union Strata bindings offer tool-less forward lean adjustment and highback rotation adjustment, allowing riders to fine-tune the binding's fit to their preferences.
2. Durable Construction: These bindings are built with a solid baseplate and highback made of durable materials, ensuring longevity and stability on the mountain.
3. Comfortable: The Union Strata bindings come with a comfortable ankle strap and a cushioned footbed, making them a great choice for riders who prioritize comfort.
4. Easy to Use: The bindings feature a simple and intuitive design, making it easy for riders to adjust and get on and off the mountain quickly.
Disadvantages:1. Price: Union Strata bindings are on the pricier side, which may be a deterrent for some riders on a budget.
2. Heel Cup Design: Some riders have reported that the Union Strata's heel cup design can be a bit tight, which may cause discomfort or even blisters for some users.
3. Weight: These bindings are slightly heavier than some other options on the market, which could be a concern for riders who prioritize lightweight equipment.
Conclusion:The Union Strata Snowboard Bindings (Model 321111-BLU) offer a durable and adjustable fit, as well as responsive performance. However, they come with a higher price tag and may not be the lightest option on the market. Ultimately, if you prioritize comfort, durability, and adjustability in your bindings, the Union Strata may be the right choice for you.
Recommendation:If you're looking for bindings with a similar feature set but at a lower price point, consider checking out the Burton Genesis EST bindings. They offer tool-less adjustability and a comfortable fit, but are generally lighter and more affordable than the Union Strata. However, keep in mind that they may not offer the same level of durability or performance as the Union Strata.
Comes complete with everything originally included. Basically brand new, small scratch on back of left binding. Bought these a month ago, used them on few runs and found out they were too small for me, had to size up which is unfortunate.
